Is Kodi Dead in the water
So with the big dish company and BT given their newly granted powers by the courts to shut down and actively prosecute people for copyright infringement do you think the future of kodi is doomed? from its humble beginnings 10 years ago as xbmc , kodi has evolved to a state of the art media center for various platforms from android to windows and everything in between.
Pressure is now mounting and addons that supply up to date content i.e movies and tv series are fast being pulled due to copyright infringement and companies actively seeking prosecution.
What are your thoughts?
Kodi is in essence XBMC and runs off of builds. While Kodi isnt illegal... The builds are. Think along the lines of the past... Napster, Limewire, Frostwire, utorrent, pirate bay... Yep... That is Kodi's fate.
