Knowledge came from the word know and know is to have information about something or to be sure about something or to be familiar with someone or something.

When you know about something then it is said that you are knowledgeable about the thing or person.

The need to acquire knowledge can not be over emphasize because when you are knowledgeable about a job, surely there would be excellence throughout your time in that job. Something goes to business and work.
