Ruminant Stomach

It is a four chambered stomach mostly found in herbivores mammals such as cow,goat,sheep etc.
Four chambers are- Rumen, Reticulum, Omasum and Abomasum.
Within ruminant stomach some micro organism are present which help in cellulose digestion by secreting cellulose enzyme. Thus micro organism fermentation occurs in Rumen.
It is symbiotic relationship between micro organism and Ruminant mammals as in return micro organisms receive shelter and food.
