[Hope Relay in 2018] Three wishes to be made this year

Every day is important for life, but this year I have the following desire especially as I started Steam It.

1. Steadily read the journal and share it with Steamit (50+)

For those who do not have access to biomedical sciences, I am always interested in medicine and engineering, so I am always wondering what to focus on in a deeper way. In pursuit of a sense of balance, but in the sense that I read my thesis on my own, I would like to post one article per week to grasp the thesis of the journal. One year is 52 weeks, so it would be okay to share about 50 more.

Basically, you should focus on journals with common creative license 4.0, but you should also look at arxiv or bioRxiv to see the latest trends.

1. The Elements of Statistical Learning

Trevor Hastie's books are quite famous. I would like to read the book The Elements of Statistical Learning: Data Mining, Inference, and Prediction. In recent years, there has been a tendency to lead to a large number of data => deep running => quite good results ... in the machine learning field, The question of how to have meaning and how to interpret it is sometimes difficult to answer easily. Especially, I think that it has a personal philosophy that the foundation should be solid for the application, so if I build up the theoretical foundation properly (even if it does not help right now), I think it will have a big impact on the good research and development.

1. Production and launch of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) related to health care

There is a digital healthcare project that I and my colleagues envision. I do not know what will happen in the future, but I have basic ideas and concrete road maps. It's important to be involved with good people in any project, and we are doing team building carefully. (Even if some VCs are investing in teams only). 3 delegates, 10 delegates and 20 organizations all have different dynamics for their interactions, so the initial members are very important. It is based on the philosophy that it has a positive impact on people in the right direction, and it is expected to be an interesting result. Of course I am glad to have come to the world (considering various situations) ...

I wrote down three wishes, but it is not fun to read too. (...)
It seems to me that they are hopes that are directed toward one side.
