- In London's House of Commons second reading of the "Government of Ireland Act" takes place. With the known as the "Home Rule" bill of British Prime Minister David Lloyd George wants to counter the claims of Irish nationalists after complete independence.

• As a result of the Kapp coup dismisses or leave Reichswehrminister Otto Gessler (DDP) a plurality of generals, i.a. the former head of the German colonial troops in East Africa, Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck.
  
  
• The national government granted the Reichswehr full powers, on 30 March the uprising in the Ruhr to end by military means. After an exchange of union officials between national government and the Central Council of Workers' Councils, the Cabinet is a deadline to April 2, on 30 March the insurgents.
