So, if Antartica was once not covered in ice, why are we currently so worried about global warming ?
It would however be seriously incredible to discover what lies beneath the ice, who knows what secrets may be down there.

Good point. Leonardo de Carpio should visit Antartica to get a better understanding of what's happening in the world (I admire his efforts though). I think it's inevitable for our civilization to see what underneath the ice before we blow ourselves up to kingdom-come.
