Know Filipino Food: Sisig

Sisig is a known Filipino pork dish. It's made of the skin on the pig's face that's seasoned with salt and pepper then simmered for a bit then grilled to melt the fat and sauted with all the other ingredients. Before sauteing, the pork is minced into very small pieces. To saute, put oil on the hot pan, put a little bit of butter, onions in small slices, bell pepper in small slices, sliced chilis, and the minced pork. Add mayonnaise, and some sliced spring onions. Mix it well as it simmers. Crack a piece of egg on top and put half a kalamansi on the side and serve.
