Bimini for Selene / Dufour 4800 (Part 3)

Unfortunately, the bimini is not 100% finished yet, some small work has to be done on the fabric.

But firstly we wanted to see how things will fit on board.

Doesn't look bad, does it?

The sprayhood on the Dufour is very low-ceilinged, but still I would like to be able to stand upright under the bimini. The disadvantage is that I cannot install the bimini at the same height as the sprayhood. The advantage, however, is that you still have a very good all-round view despite the sprayhood being folded up (at least with my body size).

It's not deceptive - the bimini is still a bit too high at the front. I'll leave it that way until the top is finally sewn. Then I will shorten the stands 1 .. 2cm and with that the part should come down at the front.

About the space where the mainsheet gore through:
The simplest solution would be to sew a piece of fabric, which is zipped onto the zipper of the storage bag and then tensioned to the front using a few eyelets and straps. I would not sew a zipper into the sprayhood. let's see ;)
