Its crystal clear turquoise waters and white sand beach is one of the best I’ve ever been to in the Caribbean.
Buck island national monument and marine park is nothing short of stunning.
The only problem is that your are not allowed to go their without a permit. No anchoring. If you want to stay overnight you need an additional permit.
Being an American citizen I applied for one and couldn’t get it. I Just got the run around from the park service for 3 months till I gave up and sprung for the $35 catamaran day trip.
Perhaps strict regulations are needed to keep it stunning
Righ thats the theory. Honestly their needs to be more regulation in these islands or everything is going to turn to crap.
