Soft and Squishy Gifts

I recently received these fantastic gifts from a friend, and they totally made my day! I've been looking forward to trying out some new sock yarn, so these came at the perfect time and have given me something new to work with.

I'm planning to make some vanilla socks for me out of the camo colourway, but I haven't fully settled on what pattern I will be doing with the canyon colors colourway. I'm not sure if I'd like to just do another vanilla sock or try out something with some real pattern texture to it. I've also considered trying out the Socks on a Plane pattern from Ravelry so that it is the best of both worlds. Either way, I have time to think about it while I work on the first pair.
