Mount Escapes from A Punching Opponent | Jiu-Jitsu Escapes
Yeah...but, what if the guy is punching you?
This is the comment I got a few times on my other mount escapes video (which you should check out if you haven't). And it was kind of odd to me, because each of the escapes were mostly useful for sport or self-defense. But I thought I would make a video to try to clarify any confusion to that point, and film it no-gi just in case that was an issue.
In this video, I mention striking considerations and how to escape the bottom mount position, avoiding as much damage as possible. I also include a submission toward the end that occurs frequently if the last escape is performed well.
