We are richer than Kings

Why are people so greedy? Why does someone need a bigger house, a bigger car, a bigger boat, a more expensive purse, a more expensive suit, a more expensive meal?

We are richer than the kings of old ever were. We have indoor plumbing, running water, hot showers, heat, air conditioning, lights … we have cars, trains, and air travel at our disposal … we have tv, music, and movies … we have ready made clothing, food, and homes... antibiotics, quantum physics, and wireless communication.

We have so much, we have it all… we have paradise at our feet. Why don’t we treasure this world instead of figuring out new ways to exploit it and trash it?

We are richer than kings…
