Be Strong in the Lord

1 Corinthians 15:58
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

According to our reference Bible text, Apostle Paul was encouraging the people of Corinth to be strong in faith. God will never give you an assignment without standing with you to see that the assignment is completed.

When He (God) sent Moses to go and rescue the children of Israel from the land of bondage (Egypt), He was with Moses till he succeeded in taking them out of the land of bondage.

All we have to do as believers is to trust and obey him. Elijah obeyed God, served God diligently and God took him to Heaven without him seeing death. So wheresoever position we find ourselves to serve God, let's serve him with all our hearts and in obedience cos it really pays to serve God. Your labor is not in vain!
