On Kind Ads : A New Way To Pay Attention

The top three websites in the world based on Alexa Rankings are Google.com , YouTube.com and Facebook.com. These three websites has a combined total of 13,591.342 sites linked to them and the number growing as the day goes by

Online advertising have come to become a massive online business for topsites which has massive amounts of Traffic. Brands worldwide pay a lot of money to these sites to get their products on the front pages of the Net

However users of these sites have no idea of how the advertising model work and they also left to combat the annoying ads whenever they come online. This is very unfair in my opinion as they don't get any form of reward for their attention

There have been a of of complaints of the abuse of power by the Advertising Giants who do as they like with the data of users while hiding behind the dubious legality offered by the stuffy terms and conditions that users are forced to accept

The lack of moral ethics displayed by Facebook over the Years is alarming as they have allowed the running of harmful campaigns without thinking twice about It, and the end user is left to wade through these ads without given a chance to choose

The advent of Decentralized advertising powered by the Blockchain is a viable solution to this catastrophe. New Blockchain innovations are rising to counter the Negative business model offered by Big Three, and the Kind Ads Blockchain aims to be at the forefront of this strike back

Kind Ads provides a unique advertising model. It is a huge turn around from the normal advertising model used by Media Giants presently. Kind Ads is a permission based ad protocol that gives both publishers and the end user a unique advertising experience

With Kind Ads publishers will spend significantly lower due to the elimination of Middle Men. The end users have the license to choose what kind of ads that can be shown to them while also rewarding them for viewed ads at the same time

The flagrant use of user data by centralized advertisement companies has made tools like Ad Blocker gain widespread use as people most time feel disgusted at the level of Targeting they receive. WhatsApp which is owned by Facebook has even helped in the harvest of user data and Information as people see Ads based on the chats they had with people on the Communication App

On the Kind Ads Network will have an easier Interaction with consumers as they will be brought in contact with products that they actually need and not the "throw it till it sticks" antics used by present day Centralized networks. There will be no need for Ad Blockers as they will be a significant amount of value exchange and not the one sided flow of Value we are currently experiencing

Tokenomics

The Kind Ads platform token (KND) will be used to facilitate transactions within the Kind Ads Ecosystem. It is an ERC20 Token as the Platform is built on the Ethereum Blockchain .

The uses of the token includes, a gateway for advertisers to purchase ads from publishers on the Kind Ads Network, it is also used as a medium of payment to both users and publishers as it has a daily reward pool

Whenever s user opts in on the Kind Ads network he/she receives a token, opting out will also Involve the user spending a token, this token is reallocated to the reward pool and becomes part of the tokens used to reward other active users

Users will also receive tokens from the reward pool based on the level of engagement they have on the Kind ads platform. They can also choose to use the tokens as advertisers and even reward their favorite publishes with some pledged tokens

Verified Publishers also get rewarded from the reward pool based on Ad Impressions and user participation. It is vital for publishers to build a good historical record as it will enable them get more value from the Kind Ads network. 10% of the reward pool is allocated to publishers who have proven themselves to be a pillar in the Kind Ads ecosystem

Advertisers are to buy tokens so as to access publisher gateways, they will be also required to spend the tokens for advertising

It is also possible for Application Developers to participate in the Kind Ads Network as they will bring in a whole new Gateway for Advertisers and Publishers, these App Partners will bring the attention bank their App possesses to the Kind Ads Network and the more valuable an Application is the more value it will get from the reward pool

I think this will solve a lot of unexpressed or silent problems of site users. It's very annoying when one have to be redirected to an unknown site just because he mistakenly clicked on Ads displayed on the screen.

I hope this should go a long way to mitigate the bumpy ride some of these sites have been taking their users on.

Ad is helping yes for awareness but in the same time the information is not sieve out of scams.

Ads are not to be blocked automatically but to find a way to regulate it.

How is this different than Basic Attention Tokens?

I have not done much research on BAT but I can say that they are quite similar even though there are difference. BAT will be powered by the Decentralized Brave browser while Kind ADS is making use of Google Chrome
