Its been a while...
Today's #killthepad is about life.
Freestyling based on a couple pics and experiences here.
This is an entry for the Killthepad competition hosted by @jamesgetsit.

I'm grateful for a lot in my life. My family, my lil niece, my girlfriend, my crew. Living in Nigeria gets a bit difficult from time to time. So many things designed to hold you down but with relentless effort we always find a way to survive.

Dressed to achieve
Goals for the life that I need
In a personal race, there's no extra points for that speed


Been through the weirdest times
Lived in the deadliest climes
You wouldn't understand the picture
If you knew, that shit would give you seizures

I've seen mystic powers clash
Radio towers spark
On a sunny day, radiant flowers dark
Guerrilla warfare, bloodbaths when bullet showers start
But there's Hope for the friendly locals
People done getting so loud
Now we hold hands and share the vocals
With love around, return of health is total

From the village to the big cities
We've seen these things
Hardwork and a keen spirit..
Vs laziness, in church hyping the ministry
Lots are still the sheep
Now the masses bet slip printing
Why work, when you can dream of big winnings?
Degrees, trainings, who needs these things?
Many just don't see the trick
The pen is mighty
Very mighty
The right signature in this city
And all your life... you can kick back and drink silly
