The topic chosen this week was peace. Great topic and wish I could have spent more time on this. Didn't want you thinking you had got rid of me after a single defeat, so chucked an entry in at the last moment to keep my seat warm ;)

This is not peace, just mindless violence.
A world Colosseum, but the audience is silenced.
God bless us all! OK, keep dreaming.

The vicars a crook. Fudging the book.
To close to the schoolkids, not daring to look.
This is not peace, just an Orwellian reflection.
We've all been fingered and stamped for rejection.
Obsolete brains need an AI injection.
We can't trust each other and a hand shakes the past.
Waves through the future, black flags climb the mast.
An eye for an eye has left us all blind
Now robotics is set to leave us behind.
This is not peace, so why don't we mind?

Thanks bud. I really don't like the flow of the last few lines though. This challenge has some unreal talent so the bar is usually set pretty high. I actually got the deadline wrong, so could have spent more time on it after all.. Thanks for the vote mate.
You're so right about the talent here. Every entry was so good. Still, you did an impressive job for a last minute entry. Looking forward to seeing what else you'll come up with.
