I loved you before I saw you

Not knowing the person you are but

I waited for you for so long
I waited for almost a year
Impatiently awaiting the moment
That you‘d finally make your way here
The first time I hold you in my arms
Your body was warm and so small
I knew I would hold you forever
You‘re my one and my only - you‘re all
And as time with you passes so swiflty
The one thing will always remain
There is nothing like the love of a mother
I‘ll be there through joy and through pain
My dear child rest your head on my shoulder
I‘m the one you can always lean on
My love guides you through daylight and darkness
Even when I am forever gone
