The shape of sand.
This photo was shot in 2011 in Australia in Coffin Bay's small desert which is next to the ocean. My attention got caught by the sand cracking into different parts. I guess this is the visible part of its movement, certainly the wind carries the sand around and drop it further. But we sometimes forget that at the top of a dune, when the sand become to heavy, it end up cracking into small blocks and falling on the side of the dune only to become fine grain sand again.
This was captivating and I loved composing with the sand, I felt like a painter for a moment.
