Killerpix Week 26 - Triangles
There is a little park about halfway to where our son lives. We often stop here to deposit some coffee on our way to pick up the granddaughters. We took these pictures last week when we went to get the girls. It began life as a roadside park maintained by the Lions, but it has recently become a Veteran's Memorial also. Off on one end of the park sits this little pyramid, and this is my official entry:
The brass plate tells the tale of a transport plane that crashed near the park, you can read that story here if you are interested:

The pyramid is set off, away from everything else at the park. We did not even notice it for a while. Most of the people who come here are like us, park at the other end, make a run to the little shack, then get back on the road. It is set up for picnicking, but we have never actually seen anyone using the park for anything but a potty. It is just too far off the beaten path, and there are some REALLY nice parks 7 miles down the road, in town, with stuff for kids to play on. Still, it is a pretty little park.
Just the kind of park I like to find while traveling.
Love
Thanks for sharing this. Looks like a great place to meditate. Looks kinda cold. :)
Joy
It is kinda cold, we were enjoying a very mild winter and early spring when it turned cold, windy and snowy again.
