KillerPix📷Contest #35 - Sand - Sand Lines
Here's my entry into this weeks KillerPix📷Contest run by @killerwhale. Week #35 and the theme is Sand.
Welcome to Elliot Heads near Bundaberg in Queensland, Australia. Elliot Heads is a small coastal town with beautiful beaches and waterways. The waters are aquamarine and crystal clear. This is the inlet where the tide goes in and out to the ocean, it's a stunning area when the tide is in for swimming, fishing and water sport activities but I love it just as much on low tide with its amazing tidal marks. They kill your feet to walk on but are wonderful to photograph with their amazing patterns and textures, especially late in the afternoon when the sun is going down, the shadows in the ridges look awesome through the camera.

That is really cool! I love the surprises that the low tide brings, completing transforming a place.
Thank you, you are so right!! A different picture every day ; )
That looks completely different as the grey river over here with the fake beach made on mainly clay :(
This is still really close to the beach so there's still lots of sand. As you get closer to the mangrove areas you find more clay. But yes you are right now that I think about it... sand doens't always typically come in as far as what it does here... it is a really beautiful area though and it's not at all busy.
It looks great and without a crowd it is very attractive
Thank you, yes it deosn't get too busy there... it can in the holiday season but not so bad any other time! : )
