This is my entry for the current #KillerPix Photography Contest organised by @killerwhale

This tree with its extraordinary bark, looks like a painting, another art. It is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, belonging to the Andean Cordillera of Mérida Venezuela.

Also, this tree is used as firewood for charcoal and the leaves are an appreciated feed for livestock. An oil very similar to flaxseed is extracted from its seeds, which is used in paint and similar industries. Its wood is very hard and is used to make the handles of objects or tools.

Also, it is a very precious tree for ornamentation, because it gives an extraordinary shade, it has a beautiful and elegant appearance, thanks to it looks green throughout the year. In addition to that it has easy adaptation to any environment.
