KillerPix Contest #34 - beautifully backlit grape hyacinth
My first time entering a #KillerPix contest, please be gentle :-)
This is a close-up shot of some grape hyacinth, backlit by the late afternoon sun. They're a very close cousin to the bluebells that carpet Britain's woodlands in the spring but have lots of small, closely packed flowers.
