Killerpix Contest #39 - SUMMER -
The KillerPix Contest for the week is titled SUMMER and what says summer better than the beach?!?
The setting is Jobson's Cove in Bermuda in the Summer of 2011. I am in the middle surrounded on my right by my cousin Danny and on the left by my friend Nicole. We took the local bus and were planning on heading to Horseshoe Beach which is the big tourist beach we heard about. While striking up a conversation with a local on the bus ride, he strongly advised to avoid it as it would be too packed and crowded. He advised 2 stops past Horseshoe that we get off and wander down a path he described for a few minutes. I figured we would end up in paradise or beaten and our organs removed for sale on Silk Road.
Luckily the former was the reality and the clearing gave way to a beautiful cove with lots of shade. A beautiful pool of crystal clear water greeted you along with thousands of tiny fish that would scatter with each step taken. Venture further in towards the open sea with your goggles and snorkel to see a world so colorful and full of life, just below you. Once done, we climbed up the carved steps for a fantastic view of the world that lies ahead.
If you ever have the opportunity to visit Bermuda, take the trip out to Jobson's Cove...I promise it won't disappoint.

Glad it all worked out for you in the end, but damn dude, everything from Turistas to The Hills Have Eyes starts because somebody tells the out-of-towners about a secret shortcut. You got lucky this time. ;)
