1st Entry: Walk with Jesus
A penitential foot procession starts at 4am called the “Walk with Jesus,” as they carried candles and images of Señor Santo Niño while praying with the rosary and sing the traditional hymn “Bato Balani sa Gugma,” raising their hands and waving as a sign of surrender for their faith and loyalty to God.
Taken during January 20, 2018 at Cebu City, Philippines during the Walk with Jesus, a day before the main event which is Sinulog Grand Parade.

2nd Entry: St John of Sahagun Shrine
Saint John was a peacemaker defended the rights of servants and workers. He was able to reconcile feuding families. He was a man of prayer, and was devoted to the Eucharist. The people saw him as wise and prudent.
