The 4chan Mall Shooter
On December 5th 2007 an anonymous user posted on the 4chan /b random board with the message that said "Later today, I'm going to bring my rifle to the Von Maur department store at Westroads mall, Omaha, Nebraska to try to beat Cho's high score.
I'm going to go out in style"
Other anonymous users were cheering him on, but most of them just thought it was another person trying to be "edgy"
The killer was 20 year old Robert Hawkins After making the post on the /b random board, left a note that said "I'm a piece of shit; now I'll be famous". Right before the shooting happened he made a phone call to a family friend telling her that he left a note that explained everything. Here is the note he left behind:
Robert Hawkins opened fire in the mall killing 8 people and seriously wounded 5 others before killing himself. Its fair to say he had some serious mental issues.
