Former kids in care in Winnipeg case #4 volume 3

in #kidsincare7 years ago

Here is another interview with a former cfs kid. In this interview I asked him about a bad memory and he spoke of losing his laptop because he got vulgar with a staff.
He said the staff made sexual remarks to him. It really upset his grandmother to hear that he lost his laptop.

It sounds like the CFS staff was trying to show his power over him and dominate him. How sad. When the laptop brought him joy with his music and kept him away from drugs and addictions. These CFS folks are sure evil. Absolutely no heart. Thanks.

He claimed a staff member was trying to hit on him then says he told the staff member f off after he made sexual remarks against him. That's what I don't like about one sided stories because you basically have to take the one side and decipher out of what is said as to be able to draw any conclusion to their legitimacy. If the worker was trying to hit on him why would those remarks be against him as opposed to reinforcing them as a positive to influence his chances to gain the kids trust to take advantage? Maybe this, like other statements he made are just half truths, like his grandmother chipped in to buy him the laptop but when she asked if she could get the laptop she was told no, he said since it was part her property she should have been able to get it. The fact is though when you chip in to buy someone something it is for that someone therefore it's that someone's property not the purchasers. He tries to reason a fault against the workers that doesn't exist to make them look bad. He claims that his laptop was the only thing that could keep him in the house, that kept him earning good grades, that led to him being able to work. So when they took the laptop instead of focusing on his school work and job in order to get the laptop back he rebelled and decided to do drugs and drink. When the guy ask him did you find yourself since you were in care often trying to like gain control of life because they would try to control you, to which he stated he was trying to regain control of his life because he had been responsible that way. I don't know how deciding to do drugs and hanging out drinking instead of focusing on his school work and job is being responsible. He said he was often finding himself having to jump through hoops, like if the staff was being pissy they'd be like no snack for you. Pissy about what? Drugging and drinking and throwing hissy fits because you can't have your way? Does jumping through hoops mean displaying good behavior choices? Doesn't sound unreasonable to me. Maybe his grandmother got tired of jumping through "his" hoops for that is the very first thing that drew my attention was he seemed to having a caring grandmother so what is wrong with that relationship that he isn't placed with her?...and I doubt it has anything to do with grandma's behavior as much as his own.

great..post Ilike it thanksforsharingThis familyprotection..thanks ..
