How to Relieve Itchy Throat

  1. Gargle with salt water. Add half a teaspoon to 250 ml of warm air and mix well. Gargle for 10 seconds and then spit, DO NOT swallow.
    Salt helps to reduce mucus (which causes itching and tingling in the throat) and relieves inflammation.
    Repeat 2-3 times a day, until the throat feels better.

  2. Drink honey. Honey is a powerful natural remedy for smearing the throat and quickly relieve itching or irritation. For best results, drink one tablespoon of honey every morning.
    As far as possible, choose local pure honey because this type is resistant to allergies.
    Mixing a tablespoon of honey in tea is the recommended way if your stomach is positive against pure honey.
    Do not give honey to children under the age of 12 months, because the bacteria contained in it can cause a condition called infant botulism, which can cause death.

  3. Make a mixture of honey, lemon and ginger. Pour a little honey first in the cup and add hot water.
    Next, squeeze two or three lemon slices. Finally, grate a small piece of ginger and stir.
    Drink this several times a day to relieve pain and itching in the throat.

  4. Drink a mixture of milk with turmeric. Turmeric in milk is a home remedy to relieve the symptoms of itchy throat, which has been known for years.
    Before going to bed, boil a glass of milk in a saucepan (you can also mix turmeric in the air)

    Mix a tablespoon of pure horseradish (shaped crops, not extracts) in a glass with a teaspoon and a teaspoon of clove powder.
    Pour hot air until full, stir until blended and drink slowly.
