People donate to temples
they donate to charities
have they ever given money directly
into the hands of the afflicted
no one cares
they just give
and then they do not bother to see
if the affected have had any improvements
funds pour in
in the name of floods
which will be usurped by those in power
thousands have lost homes
thousands are in a dire state
with less food and no bed to sleep on
no roof even to protect themselves
it is easy to donate and claim a tax benefit
the 'rich' find ways to evade
hoarding money is the game
will they be able to eat money
will they be able to swim out of a flood
karma slaps you in the face
when the rules begin to be 'visible'

God save those who have no desire to help

for they need it most
