Kapu - How to vote for a delegate to earn an income - DPOS

KAPU being a fork of ARK keeps the DPOS system also known as Delegated Proof of Stake, This allows KAPU holders to vote for one of 51 Delegates to earn a reward depending on what the delegate specified. You can also become a delegate and as a Delegate your responsibility is to forge blocks for Kapu.

The benefit of DPOS over standard POS is that you never have to leave your wallet open, Simply vote and let the passive income begin. No bandwidth usage, no power usage. Pure income other than your only smart expense being the $KAPU you purchased.

Steps to voting:

1.) Navigate to the official Kapu coin Github https://github.com/kapucoin/kapu-desktop/releases/ and download the suitable version for your operating system, Unzip and install.

2.)Create your wallet as in the image below and make sure to backup the words.

3.) Now send your KAPU to your wallet and wait for it to confirm.

4.) Navigate to http://explorer.kapu.one/delegateMonitor , This will display the top delegates . Each one pays differently so you need to find out first before selecting one, Once you have selected your delegate of choice for example "kapu.pool.sexy" note it down and follow these steps below to vote for their Pool.

Select the votes tab

Select add delegates

and insert your delegate of choice, mine being kapu.pool.sexy

Click yes on the vote, it will cost you 1 KAPU coin to vote.You will then need your passphrase, confirm and you will now have submitted your vote.

Some tips:

.You can increase your rewards by adding more $KAPU to the same $KAPU address you voted with.
.You do not need to leave your wallet open or your pc on to receive $KAPU DPOS rewards unless you are a node.
.The rewards change depending per pool, so make sure to check different pools on the $KAPU slack or delegate website
