IPI's Casino Ethyl Alcohol Goes Green at Kahayag Festival

The effort to go green is greatly felt across industries, as several companies are now starting to realize how their operation affects the environment. Giving in to this increasing shift towards green living, International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI) through one of its flagship products - CASINO Ethyl Alcohol, smartly embraced green business practices. Working on this goal, IPI has involved itself in recycling programs such as joining this year's Kahayag Festival in Carmen, Davao del Norte.

Kahayag Festival is an annual display of lights following a theme, this year being Disney World, and is celebrated during the Yuletide season. It serves as a thanksgiving celebration for the abundant blessings the town has been receiving every year.

Giant Christmas trees, big lanterns, dancing lights, and famous landmarks and characters of Disney films are just some of the mesmerizing sights all visitors can visually feast on in a 4-hectare Tourism Complex and Town Plaza. The massive influx of spectators comprising of locals, passersby, and tourists from nearby towns is an attestation of this fete's magnificence.

This event is initiated by the local government of Carmen, Davao del Norte, and is widely participated by schools, Barangays, private sectors, and corporations such as IPI.

IPI has showcased several Christmas trees, all adorned by recycled CASINO ethyl alcohol products. By using several used bottles of alcohol to beautify the Christmas tree displays, the expo even became brighter and more meaningful.

IPI strongly advocates green living, and by participating in festivities like Kahayag Festival, the company aims to raise awareness of the said cause and to resonate this advocacy to a wider group of people.
