Dear Diary,

The occupation has taken its toll on the natives. The people grow wary, and the constant talk of the occupation makes them agitated. We need to rest. I hear god rested on the seventh day, so should we.

No rest for the wicked.

That's weird, I didn't think @theycallmedan was the cliffhanger type.

That's more of a JSun thing.
Must be good.

Interesting, is that all?

I wonder if he will get any blowback for not ending this here and now.

But wait....

Holy shitsnacks...

It doesn't even matter if this is true. If the exchanges start throwing Sun under the bus like this he is so done. #sunisdone

However, I have to assume that it is true because @theycallmedan is quite motivated and careful. Imagine what's going to happen when that code leaks and Tron's reputation gets completely destroyed. Hacking exchanges to power up investor funds to attack the chain. How is it that breaking news keeps getting pumped out like this? This is the biggest story in crypto, and this Steem Engine shows no signs of slowing down.

2020 Bitcoin baseline values.

Once again, Bitcoin has exactly hit the doubling line today. I'm calling it; this is the time to buy. Bitcoin will not dip below $7500. I "guarantee" it. This is my only prediction that holds up over the test of time.

The number of the beast is upon us!

This is not how I wanted to increase in market cap, but I guess I'll take it. Imagine what's going to happen when the market recovers! Steem is back baby! Remember when we used to hover around #27 - #33 on the market cap? I miss those days :(

Here's to a reversal back to the good ol days.

If we have to bait Tron into pumping our coin to get the super majority to push the hardfork to counter-hardfork... so be it. God this is weird. If he gets close to the super majority the #sct might switch sides and bait him even more. That would be hilarious.

Do we believe Huobi?

LOL, no, we don't. An exchange gets hacked and attacks us with that hack... and there is outrage for a week... and finally they get around to telling us what happened? Like, really?

Doesn't matter baby.
This is politics.
Sun is getting cut off.

thrownunderbus.jpg

I mean considering they don't even know how to power down I suppose it's possible they are telling the truth. They didn't actually lose funds, so it's possible that the hack went unnoticed for a while.

But then again, think about it. Your bank has gone insolvent and it takes you a full week to figure out why when any scrub in the Steem community could have told them why? We assumed the exchanges did this voluntarily. This means it was someone's decision to push the powerdown button. Wouldn't they find that person and talk to them and maybe even fire them immediately if they weren't the boss? Shouldn't they have claimed this hack on day one when the outrage began and they removed their votes from the puppet witnesses? This story is full of holes, but it's good for us.

There's also the chance that exchanges were protecting Sun and now they are fucking over it, so who knows.

@themarkymark and @steempress have been pushed out of the top 20, but Sun still needs over 8M coins to get the super majority. Also, if he keeps pumping the market and buying more coins the #sct community could flip and bait him into buying even more coins, so that's an interesting dynamic.

Here's what I wrote in the SCT discord today:

Never a dull moment.

Try not to burn out and Steem on!

Sort:

I wonder how much they want for the steemit stake, with the discount :)

In my mind, the exchanges don't even know what "powering up" and "powering down" mean.

Last week transferring STEEM was working, and now its not.
We got STEEM in the account... no wait, we got SP... isn't that just STEEM?

I hope this is the case, and if someone has an in to any of these exchanges, ask them if they need things explained.

Without being inside STEEM, and having talked STEEM, and posted posts, ... well, this is all really hard for newbies.

i hope that the exchanges are just newbies.

Else, they are evil, whether Mr. Tron talked them into doing it or not.

Oh Mr. Tron,
When will you ever learn?

I actually wouldn't be that surprised if some numpty ran the code then it took them days to notice because everything's automated, and they just didn't have orders to do anything once they realized what was up.
Of course they wouldn't wanna admit any of this, because it would prove how incompetent they are.
Some companies have taken months or years to even notice they were hacked, then months more to react.

bought some. will blame you if I lose :)

i know right.

This is financial advice:

  >>

Sell your firstborn into slavery for this opportunity.

The SCP community could dangle the possibility of getting a supermajority in front of JS's nose and entice him to pump the price even harder.

@edicted now many of us are becoming confused as we do not know who is actually lying, justin sun or the exchanges??

"Hacking exchanges to power up investor funds to attack the chain."if that is true then that is the most evil thing i have seen been done by anyone in the blockchain industry....

I sold some mining returns in the 9-10k range recently and rebought half of them at $8,200. My other buy was set for $7,200, but with stock market and oil nosediving I am reconsidering.

I mean... if it dips under $7400 you could just sell. It's pretty low risk to buy in right now and dump if the exponential support line gets broken... it never does.

I ended up pulling the trigger at 6k this morning so my buyback average was around $7,100. Short-term plan is to hold onto those pieces and buy more if price crashes while mining for cash until I can trade those pieces for profit.

I feel like it is so risky to mess around with crypto right now when they are actively preventing the stock market from dumping too far on a daily basis. Then again I also believe that the slightest amount of stabilization could push Bitcoin back up to the doubling line at $7700 really quickly. The volatility involved is going to be insane going forward. I need a new strategy to lower volatility.

I've still got some limit buys that haven't triggered from the last time it went to 3k, so I'm willing to buy much lower, but I enjoying playing around trading mining returns wherever the market is.

I feel like it's gonna get to 3k again.

i guess justin sun never knew there was going to be a unified resistance from the steem community,he thought he could just buy off the community...

it could be that justin sun promised the exchanges some certain things but he did not fulfill the promises so they decided to turn around to leave him alone in his own predicament or it could be its not yet time to trust those exchanges as they might another kind of hidden agenda which they are trying to play out..just my own personal opinion...
