Jesus and the justification: But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Luke 18:13

In Christianity, justification is a spiritual gift that is received in the sacrament of baptism along with faith and hope, and Jesus taught many things about this spiritual gift. And there is a very interesting parable on the subject in the Gospel of Luke, the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.
This parable or this fantastic story teaches that the gift of justification is above all an attitude of humility and poverty of spirit before God and men. The proud and arrogant persons, who despise others, that is, their brothers, have no place in the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of God's perfections. Seeking the spiritual gift of eternal life (contemplative activity) or the spiritual perfection means first of all to be the last, and not permanently seeking first positions. The humility and simplicity that are linked to justification hide, above all, the wisdom of avoiding unnecessary conflicts, and the cruel and bloodthirsty acts typical of passionate people. All this is what this parable of Jesus about the Pharisee and the tax collector teaches.
This is how Jesus tells this beautiful parable about the justification:
"To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: ´Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ´God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.´
But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ´O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.´
I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted" Luke 18:9-14.
