Jungkook BTS is ready to appear at the Grammy Awards after recovering from COVID-19

Jungkook BTS some time ago tested positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Las Vegas. BigHit Music announced the musician's current condition.
Through a statement released via weverse, BigHit Music confirmed that Jungkook has fully recovered from COVID-19. He is allowed to continue his activities since Saturday (2/4) local time.

"We would like to inform that Jungkook has recovered from COVID-19. He has completed self-quarantine as of Saturday (2/4) Las Vegas time," said BigHit Music.

"Jungkook has been in self-quarantine since Sunday (27/3) in accordance with the advice of the United States medical team. And starting today, Jungkook has been allowed to carry out his usual activities," he continued.

BigHit Entertainment later revealed that Jungkook experienced mild symptoms while undergoing self-quarantine. But now, he has completely recovered without any symptoms.

Jungkook's current condition made the Grammy Awards allow the musician to appear at the award event with BTS. Previously, BTS was confirmed to be performing the song Butter at the Grammy Awards stage.

"After completing quarantine, Jungkook underwent an antigen test in the United States to undergo preparation for the Grammy Awards. The result was Jungkook was declared negative, and the Grammy Awards allowed Jungkook to participate in the Grammy Awards," explained BigHit Music.

"We want to thank the fans who have been supporting Jungkook's recovery. We will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our artists, and follow all the health protocols that have been determined," he concluded.

BTS was nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group category at the 2022 Grammy Awards. This is the second year for RM Cs to be nominated in that category.

After performing at the Grammy Awards, BTS will also hold a Permission to Dance on Stage - Las Vegas concert for 4 days. The concerts will be held at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas on April 8 and 9, 2022 before continuing on April 15 and 16, 2022.
