Juju Stepping Stones

The Juju we talk about is the way we look at the world as it is. It doesn't matter whether it's real or not, just a way to make ideas fit in our head.

After everything that went down, our experience with Lightning Strike Farms seems to be a stepping stone towards learning about ourselves and what being a hero might be. There are things we can imagine and connections we can make, and there is still a lot we can do and learn. The Juju is in the subtleties, being able to boil down what people say to pithy details. It's realizing where our patterns and attitudes are going to take us in any given situation before we get there.

People keep asking us what we're running away from. Well, the answer is that we're not running away from anything. We're looking for something. We're thirsting after experiences and knowledge. We're wanting to find a version of the world we can thrive in, and so far we've been finding stepping stones. Each one we learn a little more, and we figure out how the details of the cycle fit together.

We've reached a point where our cycle is happening faster, and it's a ton of fun, but also dangerous too. We are having a hard time following anything outside of "now" (plus or minus a few days), and incentives to stay and help are getting less and less effective. We want to learn, and grow, and we're starting to see that the only way to reach a future like that is to teach.

Catalyst calls to those who would evolve with them. And we think having a hero's sidekick would be pretty kickass.

"When the teacher is ready, the student will appear."

If nothing else, we feel like one human brain is too small for all the experiences and perspectives that we're seeing right now. Worst case scenario, we can talk to therapists and see if a service animal could happen. A Welsh Corgi might make a pretty cool Sidekick too!

That's how we want to try and get along at this point.

It wouldn't be us, if we did it any other way!
