Lessons in Loneliness

Since I'm on the theme of lessons. How bout the lessons we learn when we are left alone, like now for example. If you are alone.

Alone from other people. Alone to think the actions, choices, and consequences that we have done personally. Or of someone else.

Angel, from JUDGEMENT DAY experienced that. However her loneliness was also a torture for her...in a way. Let me show you what I mean in this short snippet of my book JUDGEMENT DAY:

SNIPPET FROM JUDGEMENT DAY:

"Angel was still
Floating in the air
In the cave
With a sword through her stomach
Still protecting her heart
She’s not alive
But then she’s not dead
She still floats there
As a reminder
As a victory trophy
But her spirit still lives
It lives to watch over
Her king and her child

When Marie gave birth
It rained Angel’s tears
As she watched
Her daughter grow
And her worst enemy, raise her
She had to wait
For the day
When her king will remember
And tell their daughter Selene
Isn’t that funny
And isn’t it ironic"

In Angel's loneliness she watched the love of her life with someone else AND she watched her child be raised by another.

If you're a parent, can you imagine what it would feel like to not hold your child.

If you were able to give birth to your child, can you imagine how you would feel if you didn't get to experience that.

Lessons. Yes, Angel learned lessons while floating alone in the air.
