@teamsteem, thanks for another thoughtful post... contemplating your title, as I am in the middle of writing a post about the issue of "value" and "content," as it applies to Steemit.

I've always admired the way you fearlessly take 10-20-30+ hours to create these well-researched and super informative screeds (and I mean that in a positive way!) here... and this post helps remind me why I post here, and why quality does matter, even while there are those who feel all content should have equal time. But what do we really have to distinguish ourselves if we succumb to the temptation to have Steemit become just another version of the "mediocrity soup" that is Farcebook, Instagram and other social content platforms? The blockchain alone is not a magical thing, it's what you PUT ON IT that matters...

Thanks for an inspiring post-- which also helped me clarify some of my own thoughts, so thanks for that, too... and for all your work in the community. I'm surprised your witness isn't ranked higher, but you have my vote.
