There is a Wudang Mountain in Ganan

Wudang Mountain is located in Shiyan, Hubei Province, and is a World Heritage Site and a sacred Taoist site. In the Ming Dynasty, it was named "Danyue" and "Xuangyue" by the Emperor, and was revered as the highest "Imperial Family Temple". "Zhang Sanfeng, a Taoist priest, also founded the Wudang school of martial arts here, as we all know. What I want to say is that there are actually quite a few places called Wudang Mountains in China. Apart from the famous Shiyan Wudang Mountain, there are at least half a dozen other lesser-known Wudang Mountains, one of which is located in Longnan County, Jiangxi Province, and is known as Little Wudang Mountain.
Although it is no match for Shiyan Wudang Mountain in terms of culture, history and cultural monuments, the scenery is still good, with ninety-nine strange peaks rising from the ground and stretching for ten kilometres, like a beautiful scroll unfolding along the 105 National Road. If Shiyan Wudang Mountain is a royal princess, then Longnan Little Wudang Mountain is a village girl, and the ticket price is quite affordable, as long as 15 yuan, which is a conscience price these days.










At the resting place at the junction, there are some poems about Wudang Mountain in Longnan on the wall. There are many Wudang mountains in the world, Shiyan Wudang Mountain in Hubei, Longnan Wudang Mountain in Jiangxi, Wu'an Ancient Wudang Mountain in Hebei, Yingshan South Wudang Mountain in Hubei, Xingtai North Wudang Mountain in Hebei, Jinchang Wudang Mountain in Gansu, and Quanzhou Wudang Mountain in Fujian. ...... It seems that the word "Wudang" has some origins. The name "Wudang" is taken from the phrase "not enough to be a true warrior", which is said to be the place where the Taoist emperor Zhen Wu attained his ascension to heaven. Of course, the small Wudang Mountain in Longnan is not high and the immortals are not famous, so it is somewhat obscure, but if you pass by, don't miss it, the entrance fee is quite affordable and the scenery is good.
