I saw a discussion of RFK Jr. where the panel didn't even mention his anti-vaxxer stances or antisemitism. The host simply noted after someone mentioned he can ride on the Kennedy name that the Kennedy family absolutely despises RFK Jr.

Which you know naturally if I was a journalist would include a discussion of why, but no they moved on to why RFK Jr. is a big problem for Joe Biden. Never mind that all the people I know that are RFK Jr. fans are QAnon nuts.

It really is journalistic malpractice to sanitize these goons. IDK if it is some "civility" thing or some quixotic attempt to be objective. But it is a real problem as a good chunk of the electorate isn't actually aware of these statements.

Trump's speech on Super Tuesday was subdued compared to his usual Mussolini impressions and people were praising how he had pivoted to the general election and bringing the Republican party together. The bar for Trump is in hell.
