Jon Magnusson song "Set Me On Fire" - Re interpreted by Simon Reich

When Jon Magnasson released his album "Always a Rebel", I really liked the song "Set me on fire". I asked him if I could do a reinterpretation of the track & he happily agreed. I only used the main vocal stem from the original & all the rest was recorded with real instruments (that's right, REAL INSTRUMENTS), finally adding harmony vocals to support the chorus. Using a strong bass & drums, I've now made this song a funky, powerful track that is quite a contrast to the original. I hope you like it?Set me on fire.jpg
