If you are traveling to Banda Aceh, Indonesia, do not forget to stop at the Aceh Tsunami Museum.
The museum was designed by architect Ridwan Kamil as a symbol to commemorate the earthquake and tsunami in Aceh on December 26, 2014 ago.
Not only the outer buildings are cool, the indoor museum is also very nice and beautiful.

The museum consists of four floors. On the ground floor, serves for open space and is used for public spaces. This museum stores all photos and videos of tsunami disaster documentation.

As we enter the first room, we pass through the reflection room. In this space of reflection, we will pass through a dimly lit and narrow hallway. In the left and right of the aisle there is water flowing like a thunder tsunami and also the sound of the Azan. After passing through the space of reflection, we will enter the space that many post-tsunami photographs that show damage, destruction, and death.

After passing this room, we will enter the dark room that extends and high like a chimney. The construction of this space seems to indicate the struggle of the tsunami victims when the ocean waves come. On all walls the room was filled with names of dead tsunami victims. Upon exiting this chimney chamber, we will see many 52 flags from different countries indicating that they provided assistance to Aceh.

The second floor of the museum has an audio room and a 4D room. We will see a tsunami movie playback of 15 minutes when an earthquake occurs and when help arrives. On the third floor there is a geological room containing all the information about earthquakes and tsunamis through several displays and there is also an earthquake simulation room.
