John Wick 2 is in the most part a fast paced adrenaline pumped, full out action film. As the story follows John Wick is a retired hitman, in the previous film he was forced out of retirement. In this film guess what, de ja vu... he is forced out of retirement meant again. Do yourself a favour John, stop retiring.

The action in this film lives up to the first if not eclipses it. The main plot in this film begins when John Wick tracks down his beloved Mustang at a chop shop owned by Viggo's (main antagonist from the first film) brother Abram Tarasov.

Abram is also the uncle of Iosef (the guy who stole Johns Car in part one and killed his dog) John eliminates Abram's muscle (gunmen/ gaurds) with no remorse, Johns car takes a heavy toll and is a right mess (like those wrecked robots on robot wars). John had Abrams at his mercy but decides to spare him on the condition that he drinks to a peace offer. Then he barely makes it home in his beat down mustang.

His car is taken to Aurelio's garage to be repaired. Italian crime boss Santino D'Antonio turns up to Johns home (Johns got a new dog, looks like a pitbul) Santino reminds him about the deal they made in the past that allowed him to leave the game, this enabled him to marry Helen (not of Troy) and have a go at a normal life.

However due to recent events that deal is void and Santino wants John back in the game. John says no them boom there goes his house by the hands of Santino, this act lays the path for the rest of the film.

Notable mentions Santino D'Antonio is the main antagonist in this film, however there is another who plays shorter but memerable role the bodyguard Cassian (not from the Whitney Houston classic) Cassian is played by the well known rapper Common. He makes life a lot harder for John Wick so to speak.

This film is fuel by vengance, betrayal and blood. Don't blink or you might miss it. (Did you see that? I did...) before I forget Morpheus is in this film (yes the guy from the matrix) he plays a crime boss called the Bowery King ( his scene is jokes ).

This film is definitely worth watching. I watched it with the Mrs she was flinching and on the edge of her seat. She also rated the film higher than my 8.8. When you watch it let me know what you think in the comment section or get @ me on twitter @verzsal.
