i think what should be the crime is that the age difference is over 40 years, not that she was less than a year under 18. also USA punishes consentual sex with minors automatically as rape with consentual sex between people on 2 sides of 18 years no matter how close to 18, with punishments of 20 years or so.... US justice system labels them as sex offenders even after they finished their prison time and have to reveal them self as such to all neighbors, making them social outcasts that are unable to get a job due to their criminal record... US prison time system sucks there should be a maximum and lower peanalties... how come a female blond white person who killed a person get 10 years prison time while anyone else killing a person on accident much much more, and how come 10 years is less than 20 years for consentual sex between 2 of 2 sides of the age 18...
