They then used job sites to highlight the most commonly mentioned skills in each job description, allowing them to match the skills that are most likely to impress a potential employer when applying for one of those jobs.
The result? A useful and intuitive interactive piece that allows users to select a job role and immediately see what skills are likely to be needed to apply successfully: 
It's incredibly useful to get this kind of information if you're looking at switching careers, particularly in light of the increased number of job hunters during the global pandemic. This isn't an assumption, the government suggests there were 1.5 million additional claims for unemployment benefits between March and September of this year alone, an a staggering 9.6 million jobs furloughed by the middle of October.
Tools like this might just give job hunters the edge they need, particularly when it comes to choosing additional training and making sure their CV gets them an interview.
