Jiu-Jitsu Training Journal - 5/24/19
Yesterday was an one hour No-Gi marathon session. One hour of heavy sparring with no breaks. It was a back and forth battle. I got stopped with a heel hook and a calf slicer. I had a wide range of submissions from chokes to arm locks to foot locks.
I get the most out of these sessions as I try to work on different things while under a heavy attack. This forces me to not just do one thing. I, however, do go to one thing when I am trying to work on something new.
After that I did a one hour coaching session in Gi with one of the kids. He was totally tired after.
