This is important to know, because too many of us use "amen" as a way of "hanging up the phone" so we can go back to our own "private" thoughts. I've been trying to break that habit.

We should never hang up on God. Leave the receiver off the hook and stay in constant communication with Him! Our thoughts are never private anyway, so we shouldn't fool ourselves with the false impression that "amen" means "over and out".

Once I have watched the above video a few more times, maybe it will be safe to go back to saying "amen" for all the right reasons.
