I invite you on an adventure with me. A journey through the Holy Bible where we will explore our Creator's Love Story written to us.
In our life we must choose a path, whether or not we will accept Jesus Christ as our savior. There are eternal consequences for this decision.
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Proverbs 1:1-7 (King James Version.)
Painting: Nicolas Poussin - The Judgment of Solomon
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 (King James Version)
If you have ever lied or cheated or stolen then you are a sinner. God is Just and must punish sin. However he provided a free sacrifice with the shedding of the Blood of Christ on Mount Calvary. You can gain the free gift of eternal life today through Jesus Christ our Lord who died on the cross to save us from our sins and the punishment which is eternal separation from God in Hell. If you want to get saved and washed clean of all of your sins just pray to our Father in Heaven and ask for the free gift of salvation.
Here is an example, the "Sinner's Prayer."
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
And to begin your life as a new believer, find some Christian brothers and sisters for fellowship, tell other's of the changes God has done in your life, the burden of sin lifted, the Hope and Joy and Love that comes with being in daily contact with God through prayer and Scripture reading. God bless you all. With love, @noganoo
Here is one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Paul Washer.
Way to go @proverbs . Glad to see you being an early pioneer here of sharing the gospel.
