I find all these images of what looks like Jesus practising Yoga?

Is this True ? Was Jesus a Master of Yoga ? A Yogi ?

A yogi (sometimes spelled jogi) is a practitioner of yoga.

In Vedic Sanskrit, yoga (from the root yuj) means "to add", "to join", "to unite", or "to attach" in its most common literal sense.... Yoga comes from the word "Yoke" meaning to Join/Unite.

The word "yoke" derives from Proto-Indo-European *yugóm (yoke), from verb *yeug- (join, unite).

Jesus says "my Yoke is easy and my burden Light:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matt 11:30

דבק, or devek, the modern Hebrew word for glue literally means to cling. It is sometimes referred to as devekut, "dvekut" or devekus. The concept of Devekut is important in Jewish culture, particularly in the history of Jewish thought, mysticism, and ethics.

In modern Israeli Hebrew, "Devekut" or "dvekut" is also often a synonym for dedication toward a particular goal.

In religious Judaism and in academia, "Dvekut" refers most commonly to the philosophical, mystical understanding of "Devekut" as "cleaving" or "attaching oneself" to God.

Jesus says : I and the Father are One.

And in the New Testament his Followers are asked to Join together and become One.

.... that all of them may be One, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. - John 17:21

To imitate Christ according to Philipinans 2:

"Therefore if you have any encouragement from being United with Christ, if any comfort from his Love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being ONE in spirit and of ONE mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

I would say yes. It is funny to think that we limit Jesus. I personally believe Him to be God. For Him to want to practice yoga and meditation is not impossible. Not to think He is under a system of yoga, but that all things under heaven are His.

Yes. I agree with you. Certainly Jesus is God. I am sure he taught a message of joining with God also. Making your Will and Spirit to be One with God.

I love it. I think there is something much deeper!

If he existed I think he was definitely a yogi.

Whatever or whoever he was he said he was God. I believe he is ....

Hola gracias por sacar sonrisas @offgridlife. LO CREO! si creo que existió @forterswisdom. si no ya te hubiese insultado. risas.

There is no evidence that Jesus existed.

A man named Jesus never existed.... but a Jewish Rabbi named Yeshu ha Notzri certainly existed. He was executed on the eve of Passover for being a Heretic - He claimed to be God.

His name looked like this .... ישו הנוצרי

Talmud Sanhedrin 43a

" It is taught: On the eve of Passover they hung Yeshu and the crier went forth for forty days beforehand declaring that "Yeshu is going to be stoned for practicing witchcraft, for enticing and leading Israel astray. Anyone who knows something to clear him should come forth and exonerate him." But no one had anything exonerating for him and they hung him on the eve of Passover. Ulla said: Would one think that we should look for exonerating evidence for him? He was an enticer and G-d said (Deuteronomy 13:9) "Show him no pity or compassion, and do not shield him." Yeshu was different because he was close to the government. [Royal Family / House of David] "
