“It was also said, Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Marriage takes a lot of work sometimes. You have to be intentional to connect with that person. You also have to be vulnerable, and both people have to make good-faith efforts to make it work. If that breaks down, then divorces can happen. If both people are honoring and serving each other, divorce is much less likely.
May God help Christian couples stay faithful to one another. Amen.
