By the Holy Spirit the work of Jesus on earth becomes His work in me. He died—and I am forgiven. He bore judgment - therefore, “there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus”. The Holy Spirit takes the work of Jesus, identifies us with it, and translates it into our experience. How wonderful. This is saving truth.
