Discord ebbs and flows occasional on steemit.

We see a bit of it arising again due to competing interests relating to automated voting and the so called "draining" of the reward pool.

This discord and drama is something that affects the user experience, reflects badly on the unity of the community, creates polarization and ultimately negatively affects user retention.

We would do well to heed the teachings of the master teacher about a house divided.
